Animals have chakras just like humans do! But what are chakras? "Chakra" is the Sanskrit word for "wheel" and refers to the energy points in and around the body. In this blog, we will briefly discuss the seven main chakras and what each of them mean.
The root chakra is located at the base of the spine, is represented by the color red and symbolizes security, safety and groundedness.
The sacral chakra is located in the reproductive organs, is represented by the color organge and symbolizes creativity, self-expression and sexual energy.
The solar plexus is located in the stomach or gut area, is represented by the color yellow and symbolizes confidence and will power.
The heart chakra is located in the heart center, is represented by the color green and symbolizes love and realtionships, along with the ability to both give and receive love.
The throat chakra is located in the throat area, is represented by the color blue and symbolizes communication, expression and expressing your truth.
The third eye chakra is located in the middle of the forehead, is represented by the color indigo and symbolizes intution, awareness and psychic perception.
The crown chakra is located on the crown of the head, is represented by the color purple and symbolizes connection to Source and to our Higher Self.
